B Arts are artists and producers based in North Staffordshire.

We have been here since 1985 co-creating work with communities in Stoke-on-Trent and Newcastle-under-Lyme, the West Midlands and with partners across the world.

Our work takes place in parks, city streets, village halls and beaches as opposed to traditional cultural venues and fuses art-forms such as theatre, film, digital media, live music and carnival arts. See our Outdoor Arts programme for more details.

We frequently develop work with communities marginalised in society. In the past we have with jobless young people, asylum seekers and refugees, gypsy and travellers. Currently our work is focused around the Artcity initiative; site-specific events and performance; and working towards a community-supported real bread bakery in Stoke-on-Trent.

We work with non-arts partners to embed and sustain the creative work we undertake in wider initiatives.
