B Arts are working with a range of partners on creative approaches to some of the issues surrounding ageing and the lives of older people. Our partners include the Social Gerontology Department at Keele University; The Baring Foundation; digital creatives Bitjam and Staffordshire Cares.
These projects include;
Soundworks: a two-year programme of digital participatory arts in residential care home settings funded by The Baring Foundation.
Carers Networks: workshops with individuals with Dementia and their carers digitising their life stories, funded by Staffordshire Cares.
Life Streams R and D: The Baring Foundation are also supporting B Arts in a Research and Development programme to develop an online continuing biographies platform.
