Forest of Dreams: an extraordinary evening of edible theatre.

A girl in a red hat is lost in the forest.
Or is it a boy in a hoody?

There are others here too: out for a morning jog or been travelling for months,
years even – searching for an aunt, a friend, a clean bed, a new job, a fresh start, adventure, safety.

Twigs snap underfoot, a wolf howls. A woman gathering mushrooms in the mist transforms into a giant bird. The sinister deer king stalks his next prey, the boy in the hoody escapes from his minders and the girl in the red hat hurries to reach her grandmothers house.
We know how her story ends – but do we? And what about the rest?

Come and join B arts to make an extraordinary evening where dinner and theatre combine. Experience a fabulous feast of live cooking and music, projections and puppetry in the Forest of Dreams.

Forest of Dreams is presented after-hours at the British Ceramics Biennial in the amazing setting of China Hall in Stoke town centre.

From the creators of PLAY (2017); A Place At The Table (2015) and The Lost Post Office (2014-3).

All food is vegetarian friendly and other dietary requirements catered for. Please contact us at info@b-arts.org.uk with any specific requests.

Just need to say THANKS to B Arts for another fabulous evening with their Place at the Table event. What a thought provoking, inspirational, multicultural, delicious and creative evening! We loved it!!

This is a lovely show with food, drink, music, visual learning aids, recipes, madness, gods, sharpness, sophistication, hard choices, altered states and a full belly.

During the performance you will be served a three-course meal during the action. Special craft beers, wine and soft drinks are available from a pay bar by Bottlecraft.

Is there a menu?
Everyone eats the same meal together so no there are not menu options. We want the food to be a delight and surprise, and relate to the show, so we are asking you to trust us that what you eat will be delicious. Audiences at our previous edible theatre show, A Place At The Table (2015), enjoyed this way of bringing theatre and food together.

Dietary options?
The meal will be vegetarian. We are expecting vegans but if you could email us at info@b-arts.org.uk with the date you are coming.

And more options?
Rather than list all the possible dietary options, if you could email us your particular needs at indo@b-arts.org.uk

My teenager/partner is just basically a fussy eater.
Sure they can come and we think they will find the food delicious. But you can bring your own food to supplement the food we will serve, but please be proportionate. We cannot heat or prepare anything for you.

Can I bring alcohol to drink with my meal?
We would prefer you to buy drinks from the bar provided by Bottlecraft.

My query is not on here
