Finger on the Pulse
We are excited to announce that Betty Buffer’s Kitchen (and Garden) is back this January, for a new short series called ‘Finger on the Pulse’!
“Hello, Happy New Year!, Well, is it though because you know, sometimes we all get a bit miserable don’t we. I certainly have I don’t know about you. It’s all been a bit much, but don’t worry. What we’re going to do is carry on.
Now, look what we’ve got here. Lots of lovely lentils and in tin as well, different sorts of pulses and things that are very inexpensive to buy, especially if you buy them dry. Now people are not too sure on how to cook these. They’re not sure of the difference between these ones you don’t have to soak, what do you do with the ones in the tins, what do you do with these after, oh it’s all a palaver. So, we’re going to do a little series called Finger on the Pulse! Do you get it? These are pulses, that’s right, pulses and lentils, and we’re going to get lots of different people to share their recipes!
So, if you’ve got one, a good recipe for pulses and maybe some veg and lovely spices and herbs that’s going to warm us up and cheer us up this winter, let me have it - on all the usual channels!
