Outdoor Arts

B arts specialises in creating work for non-arts spaces. We have worked outdoors ever since the company created its first outdoor show in 1985 and its first lantern procession in 1988.

Making arts outdoors is how we engage with the many people who would not cross the threshold of traditional arts spaces; who could not physically get to arts venues; and who don’t consider the arts and creative activities “for them”.

Over the years our work has evolved so that outdoors now, as well as creating performing and celebratory arts projects, we might be creating physical urban oases, baking or making digital maps.
