We are very pleased to be welcoming A Royal Exchange Theatre Production, The Mysteries Part 5: Stoke to B arts in October.

In Stoke-on-Trent, in a ceramics studio and an old church bell tower, debate rages about how a city and its people might be reshaped.

The Mysteries is a cycle of six warm, witty new plays which cross England, from a sheep farm in Eskdale via tourist information centre in Whitby to Manchester.

Each of the six parts of The Mysteries will be made and premiered in the place it was written. The performance of Part 5, the play inspired by Chris Thorpe's time in Stoke will be presented as a double bill with a reading of Part 6: Manchester
