The Psyber Giantess x B-Arts Stoke presents:

A Sober Queer Global Majority x POC Game Night

Not into pubs? Proudly socially awkward? Microaggression fatigue? Want to play tabletop games on a Friday? This is for you.

Come take up space, play some games and have a different kind of Friday night.

This is a sober, alcohol-free social for queer people from Global Majority and POC communities to come together, meet people, play games, have a chat, or simply exist in a space that doesn't revolve around drinking.

You don't need to be a tabletop gaming expert. Come on your own or with friends. You can join a game, watch, chat, sit on the sofa, find a quieter corner or simply take some time to settle in.

What to expect

🎲 Tabletop and board games
☕ Tea and coffee
💧 Water
🍎 Light snacks and fruit
🛋️ Space to sit, chat, decompress or find a quieter corner
🌈 Queer Global Majority x POC community

Who is this for?

This event is for queer people from Global Majority and POC communities (black, brown, mixed race, indigenous)

We're particularly interested in creating a Friday night alternative for people who don't enjoy pubs, clubs or drinking-centred social spaces — including people who are socially awkward, easily overwhelmed, tired of masking, or simply want somewhere different to spend a Friday evening.

Venue & access

The event takes place at Bread in Common Café at B-Arts, on the ground floor.

The venue is wheelchair accessible and there are two accessible gender-neutral toilets on the same floor.

There is a sofa and the opportunity to find a quieter corner. If you need some time away from the main activity because you're feeling overwhelmed, a quiet space will also be available.
