Textile banner making
Has a painting on a gallery wall ever stopped you in your tracks? Was there a framed print in your nan’s living room that will always feel like home? What was the first film that made you want to tell your own stories?
Join Art UK and B arts to help create a collaborative textile banner inspired by the artworks that have shaped us, stayed with us, or sparked our creativity.
In this hands-on workshop, you’ll be supported to create your own textile patch inspired by an artwork that is meaningful to you. All patches created during the workshops will become part of a larger collective banner.
Workshops will be led by professional textile artists, and no prior experience is necessary. Suitable for ages 16+.
