The Trent Valley Cabinet of Curiosities
Help us make The Trent Valley Cabinet of Curiosities!
The cabinet is a magical object that was lying undiscovered at the bottom of the River Trent – for hundreds – maybe thousands of years, or perhaps it even emerged from the riverbed itself! This ‘other-worldly’ cabinet from the depths of the Trent, opens up to reveal different compartments each exploring different stories of the Trent Valley....
B. ARTS are working with Staffordshire Wildlife Trust on a project exploring the stories past and present of the Trent Valley to help us create a cabinet of curiosities which will be part of a touring exhibition later this year.
To get us started we are on the search for stories, memories, songs, folklore, and images to help us tell the story of the River Trent and what it means to the people of Staffordshire!

Across the next couple of months we'll be working with different groups in Stoke-On-Trent and Stafford on the creation of the cabinet and also running some open workshops look out for more dates and details for how to get involved coming soon.

How can I get involved?
Across July our artists will be working with groups in Stoke on Trent and Stafford
We will also be running a drop-in open workshop as part of August Climate Cafe - Saturday 1st August 10-3pm and scheduling some additional open workshops more details coming soon.
