Newcastle Midsummer and Midwinter Wakes are a carnival parade through the town centre of Newcastle-under-Lyme, as part of a seasonal festival of activities in the town. There are drop-in carnival making workshops leading up to the big day, which also feature markets, dancing and drumming.
