Stoke Indoor Market Residencies

As part of our Animate 72 programme funded by Stoke-On-Trent City Council and the UKSPF shared prosperity fund we are running a series of creative activities and residencies in Stoke Indoor Market

Ian Mood - Stoke Market Residency May 2024

Our next residency running across May 2024 will see artist Ian Mood take over a market stall as an on-site studio. Across the month he’ll be producing a series of drawings and paintings celebrating the vibrant community in Stoke Market.

Through the residency he will be documenting the life of the market in drawings and paintings which will be produced on site in the market. You can pop in and see how he’s getting on throughout May, you’ll find him on Stall 4 and 5 on the corner stall.

He’ll be capturing both the people who work and visit the market if you’d like to be featured please pop in to see him or get in touch with Rebecca at B arts (Rebecca.frankenberg@b-arts.org.uk). At the end of the residency we will have a small-scale sharing event at B arts base at 72 Hartshill Road, Stoke, ST4 7RB, date and details TBC.
