Thank you to everyone who came!

*We have reserved a small number of places for those who live and work in the local area to the Train Station, if this is you, please email kath.stanway@b-arts.org.uk or text/call 07544814720 - get in touch to reserve your free space!*

A unique chance to experience the stories of the Knotty NSR with Ghost Whisperer extraordinaire Shirley. Find out all about Stoke’s favourite trainline the Knotty (which closed exactly 100 years ago) directly from the ghosts who lived and worked on it.

*This is an interactive, guided family friendly comedy theatre show appropriate for and aimed at all ages! No real ghosts will be whispered to (or harmed) during the course of the performance!

Please note this is an interactive guided performance around Stoke Station, there are NO train journeys involved in the show.

Where do the performances take place?

Stoke on Trent Railway Station (Station Road, Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire, ST4 2AA). Meeting point is to the right of the train station, outside the old book shop.

There are four short stops, and the trail ends outside at Stoke-on-Trent Train Station on Platform 2, Car Park side (Staff will be available to escort you back through the ticket barrier to Platform 1 side).

The performance is fully accessible, using the lifts at Stoke on Trent Train Station moving from one side of the station on platform 1 to platform 2.

*Please note, audience members can only access the train station platforms through the ticket barrier when accompanied by a member of B arts staff or Train Station staff.

When do the performances take place?

Saturday 18th and Sunday 19th November

Performances at 11am, 2pm, 4pm, 6pm

We expect each tour to last 45 minutes – 1 hour.

Our Saturday 18th November performance at 6pm will have a Makaton Signer.

What should I wear?

The interactive, guided tour will take place both outdoors and inside Stoke Station, some of the spaces are not heated so wrap up warm and wear sensible shoes.

Do I need to book tickets for all of my family/party?

There are limited numbers of places available so make sure you book your free space (please book for ALL members of your party, this helps us to calculate group numbers safely.)

All Aboard! The Knotty has been created in partnership with B arts, ArtsHill Performers, Community Rail Partnership and Avanti Westcoast.
